VW California Beach Camper

How pretty does Connie look?! This is our brand new VW California Beach Camper (arrives March 2022). The upside of the Beach Camper is it has 5 seats, perfect for 2.4 families who need 4/5 berth. Instead of the large kitchen unit and wardrobe of the Oceans, the Beach Camper has a big 3 seat bench in the back that turns into a huge bed. It also has a pop up gas burner and table in the main accomodation of the campervan as well as the trusty pop top with 2 sleeping upstairs. We will equip with a big fridge and running water sink as well as outside cooking (the same Weber BBQ we include in all out our vans) and an outdoor table and seating for 5 people. While the Beach Camper is sometimes seen as the budget VW California, we were giddy when filling out the option list so it pretty much meets the spec of our Oceans.

If you see a date you want to start your hire that overlaps with another booking ending or a date you want to end your hire but there is another rental starting, please still feel free to propose these dates and we will do our best to accommodate.

Bookings are charged per night and pick up of our vans is at 1pm and drop off is at 11am. We can sometimes accommodate different times so please enquire.

Price

From £100 to £140 per night, depending on the season and holiday periods.

3 night minimum through spring, summer and autumn and 2 night minimum in winter (we can sometimes accommodate shorter rentals if we happen to have a short gap between hires, please enquire).

We charge a one off cleaning fee per hire of £40.

Normal pick up is 1pm and drop off is 11am but can offer extended day hire subject to availability and a £65 fee

To engage the fully comprehensive insurance we require a security deposit of £1,000 to be transferred on the day the hire commences and refund soon after the camper van is returned.

Fuel policy is full to full

We include everything in the inventory above free of charge. We ask you to bring your own sleepings bags/duvets and pillows, we provide a fitted sheet for each bed.

Optional extras available:

  • Additional driver (who meet above criteria) - £10 per night


  • 'Off grid’ toilet kit with portable toilet, toilet tent and shower - £10 per night


  • 4 bike tow bar bike rack which folds to give full access to boot - £10 per night


  • Shelter and storage tent/awning - £5 per night

  • Extended pick up and drop off is £65, pick up at 9am and drop off at 6pm
